They are currently working on their sophomore LP which will feature the first single ‘Out on the Clay', as well as new stomper 'Nancy Neuse' which is due for release in mid-2019. Earlier this year, The Baudelaires were invited to both Sydney and Melbourne Psych Fest's and toured the east coast of Australia with Italian legends New Candys.

THE MIGHTIEST OF GUNS

MIGHTIEST OF GUNS are a dark country trio from Melbourne, Australia. Their gritty, raucous songs are inspired by desperation, drunkenness and cruelty.
Their debut EP, Strange Birds was released in September 2013 to a sold out crowd at Fitzroy's The Old Bar. It received glowing reviews and airplay around the country and has seen the band cross state borders, tour regional Victoria and join various festivals. Their debut album Drink Over Your Grave (2015) was produced by Brooke Penrose from Alt Country darlings Saint Jude. The album was released September 2015 and is full of fire, brimstone and everything they could muster. Taking a noisy, more vicious approach to the brutality found in the myths of Bushrangers, the Wild West and contemporary booze-houndary. In February 2016 the band embarked on their most ambitious tour yet, spanning across their hometown Melbourne, regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. It was during this "Sawtooth Tour" that they performed an incredible 17 blazing sets in 4 days across 2 states, stamping their mark as one of Melbourne's most hard working up and coming bands. Their sophomore LP is due for release in mid 2019. Watch this space for some big tours from these guys.

NEW CANDYS (ITALY)

New Candys formed in Venice (Italy) in 2008. Their influences have roots in The Velvet Underground and Syd Barrett. After a self-produced EP, in 2012 they released the album “Stars Reach The Abyss” on Foolica, a UK tour followed. In 2015 they took part in “The Reverb Conspiracy”, compilation curated by Fuzz Club/The Reverberation Appreciation Society (Levitation Austin). Later that year “New Candys As Medicine”, an album mixed by John Wills (producer and drummer of Loop), was released on both Picture In My Ear/Fuzz Club and
added to The Committee To Keep Music Evil catalogue, receiving praises from Simone Marie Butler of Primal Scream and Stephen Lawrie of The Telescopes. Three EU/UK tours followed, including festivals like The Secret Garden Party 2015 and Liverpoool Psych Fest 2016. Their third album "Bleeding Magenta" was released October 6th 2017 on Fuzz Club/Little Cloud Records, songs from it being featured on episodes of Showtime Networks original TV series “Shameless”. After the release, they toured EU/UK for the fourth time, Australia (headlining both Sydney and Melbourne Psych Festivals) and USA-Mexico, including a KEXP
Session in Seattle. They shared the stage with The Warlocks, Dead Skeletons, Crystal Stilts, Slowdive, Savages, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Vaccines among others.

LORELLE MEETS THE OBSOLETE (MEXICO)

Mexican duo LORELLE MEETS THE OBSOLETE release their new album 'De Facto' on January 11, 2019. The album, their fifth, was recorded at their home studio in Ensenada, Baja California, mixed by Cooper Crain (Cave, Bitchin Bajas) and mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Total Control). It will be available in the UK and EU via Sonic Cathedral and everywhere else in the world via the duos brand new Registros El Derrumbe imprint.
It's easily their best and most coherent album to date, and also the one that fully explores the outer limit of their sound. The album sits somewhere between brave experimentation and avant-pop put through a heavy psych filter. There are pure pop songs that come across like lost 60s nuggets ('Lineas En Hojas'), blistering white noise jams ('Unificado') and meditative incantations ('La Maga'), all of which will indeed make heads go 'POW!'.
